Team Leader – Customer Service job in UK, Nationwide

Remuneration: R14000 – R20000 per month

The role:

We are looking for a talented and progressive Team Leader to join our team, managing a group of 10 frontline agents for a busy pet food customer service. This role will be ideal for an existing team leader who is looking for a more stimulating environment.

Experience wanted :

Experience working in a UK contact center or SA center with UK customers will be a definite advantage.

Key roles and responsibilities:

By managing the day-to-day operations of a small team, you will be responsible for ensuring that your entire team exceeds key KPIs of volume quality and customer satisfaction.

Customer-centric management that puts customer needs at the center of management and operational considerations.

Responsible for implementing a coaching culture by ensuring that all staff receive frequent feedback and feel valued on the team.

Demonstrate an understanding of key call center metrics such as Average Processing Time, C-SAT or similar customer satisfaction metrics

Critical experience:

  • Great communicator
  • At least two years of contact center experience
  • Good verbal and numerical reasoning skills
  • Coaching skills

Experience wanted :

  • Good customer management skills
  • Performance management skills
  • Discipline management in the workplace.
  • Own a cat.


To perform the role of home worker, you will need:

  • Quiet office space for working from home, with high speed internet connection.
  • Laptop or desktop.
